CONGRATULATIONS on being a 5A FINALIST & moving up from 8th to 6th PLACE in Finals!! We had 2 great performances on Saturday with the final performance on Saturday night being ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of the progress we have made this year! It was truly a great finish to a GREAT marching season!!! BRAVO!!!
#2. Our 1st Bed Sheet Turn-In day is TODAY! Please turn in any order forms into the box outside the band office! #3. CHS BAND NIGHT @ LEE’S HOAGIE HOUSE IS TONIGHT! Please plan to go grab dinner @ LEE’S TONIGHT! #4. BAND JACKET ORDER DEADLINE IS TOMORROW! I have to have all Band Jacket orders turned in by tomorrow so that I can process them. Order forms are in the slots by the copy room #5. Our November Booster Club meeting will be NEXT TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12th. Please mark this on your calendar and make plans to attend. #6. HOME PLAY-OFF GAME THIS FRIDAY NIGHT! CRAZY BLUE & GREY SPIRIT NIGHT for the band! Please plan to dress in all your spirit wear & for the weather! We will be performing in the stands as a PEP BAND for the playoff game. Color Guard is expected to attend as well! Please see Mr. Gulledge if you have a conflict. #7. The Indoor Drumline is currently having their annual Poinsettia Sale. These are great for Christmas! Please see one of the indoor drumline members to get yours! Deadline is NEXT Thursday! #8. BAND PICTURE DAY will be Tuesday, November 25th We will have a professional photographer here on from 11:30 – 4:30 and all students should plan to be photographed for the composite picture! No purchase required, but we want EVERYONE to be photographed. Middle School students should make plans to come immediately after-school! #9. The final band fee payment of $75 is due Friday, November 15th. Everyone should have their full band fee paid by this date. Many people are taking advantage of the PayPal option and using a debit or credit card to pay down/off their balance via CHARMS. #2. FINALS WEEK IS HERE! It’s hard to believe that this is the last week of marching band season! Please see the attached schedule for information about 5A State Finals. We need EVERY CLOVER BAND PARENT IN THE STANDS TO CHEER ON THE PRIDE OF CLOVER THIS COMING SATURDAY!! #3. Remember… rehearsals this week are: Monday: 3:45pm – 6:00pm (activity after!) Tuesday: 3:45pm – 7:00pm (please be ready for this to move to 6-9 if our field is not usable) Wednesday: 3:45pm – 6:00pm Thursday: 3:45pm – 5:30pm (HALLOWEEN) *We are actively monitoring the weather for this week with the forecast for rain moving in Tuesday evening and raining through Friday morning. We will update any changes in schedules via REMIND & E-MAIL to adjust for scheduling. #4. HOME GAME FRIDAY NIGHT & SENIOR NIGHT! We will be recognizing our wonderful SENIORS at halftime AND performing our FULL SHOW! We may need additional help with pushing pit to cover any senior parents on the field. #2. We will be having our Community Performance THIS Thursday @ Memorial Stadium @ 8pm. We will plan to rehearse/prep from 6pm to 7:30pm and give a performance @ 8pm! Please tell your family & friends! #3. We began our annual SHEET SALE this week! This is a GREAT FUNDRASIER and the sheets make wonderful Christmas gifts! Information was handed out last Tuesday. #4. Homecoming is this Friday night and the band will be performing MATADOR at pre-game due to the Homecoming festivities. Call times and details will be pushed out later this week, but we will need to plan to start earlier on Friday than normal. #5. Please see the attached schedule for this weekend At the moment there is rain in the forecast for both Friday and Saturday. We will continue to monitor and adjust as needed, but ask everyone to be ready to be FLEXIBLE for any potential schedule changes. #7. The October MB Fee payment of $75 was due last week Please make sure you are keeping up with your band fees! #8. We will be honoring our senior band members next Friday night, November 1st during halftime BEFORE our last home field performance of MATDOR. All senior parents please make plans to join us and be recognized with your senior! #9. The Clover FB team was crowned REGION CHAMPS last Friday night which means we will have a HOME PLAYOFF GAME ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH! We will not be performing the show, but do need everyone (including guard) to plan to be in attendance. #1. Tuesday will be after-school until 6pm and Thursday will be after-school until 7pm. Same amount of rehearsal time, but just a difference on when it occurs. #3. While we all hoped for a bit higher finish in finals, the debut of MATADOR was well received and it was exciting to perform it for the crowd! TIM HINTON CLINIC WEEKEND! We will be having a clinic on Friday & Saturday with our music arranger and drill writer Tim Hinton. Friday will be 6-10 at the stadium and Saturday will be 9-1 at the stadium. Mr. Hinton will be here to help put the finishing touches on MATADOR! This is one of our most important events and we need everyone to be on time and ready to work! More details will be handed out by Wednesday!
