BAND CAMP PARENT HELP NEEDED!
We have need of parents to help both weeks of our band camp so that we can adequately take care of the 200+ students in the Pride of Clover. Below is a brief description of the areas we need assistance.
ANY HELP FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME IS WELCOME!
Areas we need help
First Aid – Need parents to be on standby to help with any minor medical needs and things that come up while we’re on the field. Basically a “mom/dad” that can help check out any students in need. Anyone with a medical background would be great, but not required.
Serving/Prepping meals – We need multiple parents to assist in prepping food and serving the students for lunch and dinner. We have several parents who will be “in-charge” but we need helper hands to take care of the 200+ students/staff that will be feed lunch & dinner the 3rd week of camp.
Uniform Help – We need help with the organizing and fitting of uniforms for the band students. We have a parent who will be in leading this group and again just need “helper hands”. Keep kids organized/moving with their measurements, shako fittings and looking for extra bibs or jackets.
Prop Helpers- each show usually has some sort of props. we have a group of parents that will assist with building or putting the props together. Sometimes painting is involved, it all depends on that years show.
