#2. Our Auto Bell Car Wash Fundraiser wraps up this week!! Please turn in your Autobell Gift Card orders on Tuesday Night at rehearsal! #3. The deadline to join the CHS Band trip to Hawaii is THIS Friday, October 4th! Don’t miss out on this “Trip of a Lifetime!” #4. We will have our 1st FULL SHOW performance at the football game this Friday night! Call time will be 6:15 to allow additional time to change into uniforms. Please make sure you are ready for Friday night! #5. We will be competing this Saturday at the Jaguar Classic @ Forestview HS in Gastonia. The schedule for the day can be found @ www.cloverbands.com. I hope the Clover Band Family will once again come out and support the band in the stands @ Forestview! #6. There are many students who are not current on their band fees. At this point all students should have paid at least $400 of their band fees. The next band fee payment is October 15th. #7. Please be reminded that NO practice/performance is considered optional and attendance is part of the band grade. #1. GREAT JOB SATURDAY! While we all hoped for a bit higher finish in finals, the debut of MATADOR was well received and it was exciting to perform it for the crowd! Time to get to work cleaning and detailing the show so we can max out its potential!

TIM HINTON CLINIC WEEKEND! We will be having a clinic on Friday & Saturday with our music arranger and drill writer Tim Hinton. Friday will be 6-10 at the stadium and Saturday will be 9-1 at the stadium. Mr. Hinton will be here to help put the finishing touches on MATADOR! This is one of our most important events and we need everyone to be on time and ready to work! More details will be handed out by Wednesday!

The plan is for this to be our first FULL UNIFORM performance of the show in preparation for the beginning of competition season starting next weekend! #3. If you are planning to go with the band to Hawaii with the CHS Band next April then you need to get your paperwork and deposit paid ASAP! ALL Students should GO HOME ON TUESDAYS if at all possible and return @ 6pm for rehearsal. Students who stay are required to remain in the band room from 4-6.
#2. We will be taking a pep band to the South Point FB game this Friday. Call time is 4pm, depart by 4:15pm. Dinner provided at South Point HS. We will be marching @ Pre-Game with the South Point Band performing the National Anthem. More details handed out by Wednesday. #3. WE STILL NEED HELP FOR THE UPCOMING PANTHER GAMES on September 8th and Thursday, September 12th! We are VERY short for the Thursday, September 12th game! SIGN-UP ON CHARMS! #4. We will be having a clinic at the stadium with our music & drill writer Tim Hinton on the 13th from 6-10 and the 14th from 9-1 and will be having a parent preview of MATADOR on the 14th @ 7pm!
