Team Clover is proud to announce the creation of a new director position to assist at both Clover Middle & Oakridge Middle Schools!! This position was created in response to the amazing work of our CMS & OMS Band Directors along with their record numbers in the band programs!! This new position has been filled by Clover Band Alum, Mr. Aaron Milner. In his previous position at Fairforest Middle School in Spartanburg, SC, Mr. Milner’s ensembles received consistent Superior and Excellent ratings at Concert Performance Assessment. His students achieved additional accolades from the South Carolina Band Directors Association, including Region Band, All-State Band, and Solo and Ensemble performances. He continues to perform in various community ensembles, and currently plays with the Carolinas Wind Orchestra, Charlotte Pride Band, and Carolina Trumpet Choir. Mr. Milner is also a trombonist with the International Pride Orchestra, which featured an inaugural performance in San Francisco in 2023 and will perform in New York City in 2024.
Mr. Milner is also passionate about giving back to his professional organizations through various service roles. He is a member of the South Carolina Music Educators Association, South Carolina Band Directors Association, and National Association for Music Educators.
