Philosophy, Mission and Objectives

Philosophy
At Clover High School, we strongly believe that music has the ability to enrich every person’s life in powerful and unique ways.  Our primary goal is to foster the development of a life-long relationship with music in every student.  Whether our students go on to be professional musicians, lawyers who play in a community band one night a week, or simply fans of music, our goal is for them to have a love and appreciation of music and the discipline of music-making. We also aim to develop students’ intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. Teamwork is a requirement for all facets of the band program.   Each individual in the ensemble plays a vital role in the quality of the whole.   We are in the business, however, of developing a life-long relationship with music in every student.   Along the way we will also be providing and encouraging positive personal growth and interactions growth through the unique medium of music.
