About The Program
Clover Percussion offers a variety of percussion education to students in the Clover School District. Clover has been consistently competitive in the state of South Carolina and nationally.
The program consists of Percussion Ensemble, Fall Marching Band, Indoor Percussion, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band.
The Clover High School Drum Line is one of the highest-ranked percussion groups in the state, and has placed in the top 20 for the past ten years in international competition. In 2012, they placed 14th. In 2014, the Drum Line placed 9th in the world and was voted Fan favorite at WGI Finals. In 2018 they took 5th place in the world while also being voted the fan favorite. The Indoor Drumline is the 2019 CWEA Champions, WGI Sport of the Arts 2022 PSA WORLD CHAMPIONS, 2022 Bands of America, East Tennessee Regional Class IV Champions, WGI Sport of the Arts 2023 PSO WORLD CHAMPIONS, 2024 WGI PSCW Silver Medalists, 2025 CWEA Percussion Scholastic World Marching Gold Medalists, and the most recent 2026 CWEA Percussion Scholastic Open Marching Silver Medalists. The percussion caption is under the direction of Mr. Joshua Roper.
